I have had the 18 Energy Star for 5 years and it has always kept us cool, comfortable and it is also quieter than other makes. With a Haier Energy Star, it-can't-get-any-better.

I researched window units for 3 months and then decided on the HAIER. I have no regrets. It cools super fast in this Alabama
heat, it is unusually quiet and it was an affordable price. I couldn't be happier!

Very disappointed. 18k BTU 220v. We bought this unit new from a local appliance store. The unit is very loud. Cooling is marginal at best. The unit does not even condense any water outside. We are in Florida. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.
