I needed to replace a 17-year-old unit originally installed when I built the house. It started leaking so I contacted support for advice. They quickly informed me that it needed to be replaced for which they provided a discount code. Shipping was fast and installation took less than 30 minutes with their innovative interlocking mechanism. I didn't have to do anything with the sink trap. Just disconnect the dishwasher and drain line. Then hook up the power and done. As easy as it could possibly be.

It has been some time since I've had to purchase a new garbage disposal. Maybe that is because my last disposal was an Insinkerator and lasted 15 years! I have two sinks with disposals. The new disposal is so quiet and the rubber gasket is removable for easy cleaning. That is my favorite feature!

This insinkerator is surprisingly quiet. Does a super job as well. Highly recommend it.
