Excellent choice. It was easy to install. Had to replace the old one and I am pleased with the new sink erator.

I had an older Insinkerator that I replaced with a slightly more powerful model.
I was delighted to find that I was able to uninstall the old unit and install the new unit in less than 30 minutes, by myself.
Most other makes require 2 people working upwards to an hour.

I needed to replace a 17 year old insinkerator. The alignment of the plumbing was identical for this new one so it was really straightforward. I've never removed or installed a garbage disposal and the whole process took 90 minutes. I used the old plug and transferred it to the new unit. You can buy a new one with the plug already installed and that would have saved me 20 minutes. If you aren't comfortable with electrical work I'd recommend buying one with the plug already installed. One tip for installation is to get the disposal mounted but not finally tightened and then to attach the plumbing loosely and dishwasher hose ( if needed) then tighten everything.
