For a medium priced disposal, this works great:) Maybe not as quite as more expensive models but not overly loud. Have only had it installed for 2 months so can't speak to longevity.

The disposal is made of quality materials with great power. It is very reasonably quiet. Installation is a breeze although the wiring area is a bit tight. Highly recommend.

The previous one was 1/3 HP rusted through after 5 yrs, came w/ 1 yr warranty. I bought this one with 1/2 HP but couldn't order from their website directly. So far in 3 months, its great! Feels like it works better than the previous one. For a new product from insinkerator, it is normal expectation for it to work great for the 1st year, real review should be after 1 yr of use when warranty expires ;-) I'm giving low score for install because it didn't come with power cord, didn't give an option to order one with it. It was very hectic to get the old power cord out and transfer to this one, had to go to hardware store to support this swap with old unit. Wish they did longer warranty
