My wife is the cook in the household, and cooks nearly 100% of our meals. We are vegetarians and grow most of our food. Steaming and frying vegetables is a daily chore, and this cooktop functions very well enabling completion of this task. We appreciate the different options for element size, and can use very small and very large cooking vessels on it. We also like the stainless steel rim around the edge of the cooktop which we hope will prevent chipping in the future. Our previous cooktop was also a metal-edged Jenn-Air cooktop, and it never chipped in spite of some abuse before we acquired the house.

I love the large Triple element. It is perfect for the large skillet that we use all the time. Burners are spaced perfectly and they heat up very quickly. Knobs along the side are good.
