The rangetop's performance has been fine but after using the new rangetop just a few times we noticed that the ring that sits above one of the burners was cracked. We phoned KitchenAid support and waited over an hour for an agent to answer, who then put us on hold again as she transferred us to another department. After waiting on hold for approximately 30 more minutes we gave up and we are now working with the dealer from whom we purchased the rangetop to get the burner ring replaced.
