We have had this dishwasher for 6 years now. It is super-quiet. Other than for occasionally hearing the water, you almost have to look for the light on the front to know it's running. I have to be honest though...it's my husband's "baby"...I'm barely allowed to add a dish since he has his own way of loading it and maximizing the space, but I am allowed to unload and put stuff away!
