This is my second induction, my first cooktop. I have to say that everyone should have an induction cooktop. I have always been a gas range only, but I got an induction hot plate to try them out and I couldn't believe how great they were. Fast, clean and convenient, you can't beat them.

I have been using my cooktop for almost 6 months. I am very happy with it. My only complaint is not with KitchenAid, but with cookware manufacturers. Pan type is critical (magnetic), but so is size. Pans are sold by the top dimension (8", 12", etc) but we need to know the bottom contact area. Some of my pans were either too large or too small for any of my "hubs". I am still looking for something to use with the bridge elements.
This cooktop is easy to clean and heats up fast.
