We get compliments about our microwave as it looks very sleek, and people love the drawer open feature. However, in a few reviews' complaints are abounded regarding the backlight feature. In my opinion, as long as the microwave is placed in a well-lit area in the kitchen it is not an issue. There is steam that gets in behind the clock but as long as the microwave drawer stays open until steam dissipates, I have no issues with it as well.
