LG LDP7808BD Features

Clean, Sanitize, And Reduce Water Spots
LG TrueSteam uses the power of steam to penetrate food residue and help eliminate water spots by up to 60%. Plus, LG dishwashers are certified by the National Sanitization Foundation to reduce bacteria on dishes by 99.999% and reach a final rinse temperature greater than 150°F when operated on the Steam cycle for peace of mind

A Dynamic Table Starts With Dynamic Dry
Creating a dynamic table begins with sparkling dishes and glassware - the kind only Dynamic Dry enhanced with TrueSteam can deliver. From thoroughly drying to eliminating water spots from wine glasses, you can throw in the towel and stop drying by hand

Get A Spotless Clean The First Time
LG's exclusive QuadWash technology gets dishes clean the first time. With four spray arms instead of just two, QuadWash uses Multi-Motion arms that rotate back and forth while spinning to power-clean dishes from multiple angles throughout the entire cycle

Smooth Loading And Unloading
Forget racks that catch or slide unevenly. The upper rack's premium glide rail system ensures it glides in and out smoothly and evenly every time, for fast loading and unloading

More Flexibility Means No Dish Gets Left Behind
EasyRack Plus lets you fit more dishes, run fewer loads and make short work of after-dinner cleanup. With three height settings, the upper rack adjusts effortlessly and smoothly to make room for tall stemware on top or oversize pans below. Customizable tines offer greater flexibility for loading dishes of all shapes and sizes without compromising cleaning performance

So Quiet, You Can Use Your Indoor Voice
Now you can run the dishwasher whenever you want day or night. The 42 dB cleaning cycle is whisper-quiet, so you won't have to worry about interrupting post-dinner-party conversations or naptime. Especially important for homes with open floor plans where sound readily travels from room to room

Resists Smudges For An Effortless Shine
PrintProof finish resists fingerprints and smudges to keep your kitchen looking its best. Available in matte black, black and classic stainless steel, now you can have all of the things you love about stainless steel appliances—the premium look, the professional-grade durability without the need for special cleaners or constant attention. Plus, it easily wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth

Save Time And Simplify Your Everyday
The ThinQ app gives you a notification when your dishes are clean and even works with Alexa or Google Assistant

Had the unit for 6 months. It has been trouble free and washes the dishes squeaky clean. Absolutely the best I have owned and have have a lot of different brands, mostly the high end models.

Let me start by stating that I am an LG Employee and was given this product to use in exchange for an honest product review. Now that's out of the way, I can say that I am really surprised by this dishwasher. First, it is QUIET. I don't hear it in any neighboring rooms and barely hear it when I'm in the kitchen. Second, it cleans so well. I thought my previous dishwasher did a pretty good job. Really… I did. After my first load in this LG Dishwasher, I was amazed at how clear my glasses came out. They look fantastic and all my dishes have a shine that I didn't realize they were missing before. I love the steam option for dried on foods and pots and pans because I don't have to wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. Third, the organization options!!! I love the 3rd rack. I can put all the utensils up there and don't have to worry about my three year old grabbing a knife and making a run for it. Half of it can be raised or lowered, so I can even put the tops to his sippy cups in there and they don't get flipped over to collect water or knocked off to the bottom of the dishwasher. The middle rack is also height adjustable which is SUPER convenient for allowing me to wash larger plastic bowls and lids that I used to have to wash by hand. And because there is no heating element on the bottom, I don't have to worry about plastics melting on the bottom rack. Previously, I might have to split my dishes into two loads because of the plastics (I have two kids) but now, can use the top and bottom rack with no fear of melting bowls or cups. Now, that does change how the drying process works. Instead of the exposed heating element at the bottom, the dishwasher uses the residual heat from the dishes to evaporate the moisture during the drying process. Plastics cool down faster and so are more wet at the end of the cycle. My old dishwasher didn't dry the plastics completely either, so I am happy to have the energy savings, organization features, and quiet operation. Also, the folding tines make it super easy to put in different shapes of dishes. Finally, I really like the cycles and options. I use the Auto cycle and steam option the most, I think, but have had great results with Normal and Heavy Duty cycles, as well as half load, night dry, and extra rinse options too. I am very happy with this dishwasher.
