I installed a/c a month ago in a second floor bedroom. Did not use until temperature was in the high 90's-100's last week. The a/c worked great and cooled the room quickly. The a/c was not too loud and I used the energy saver mode. Our last window a/c lasted 20 years, doubt this one lasts that long. Case did come with a dent in it.

I spent 2 weeks browsing for a/c unit had a 15yr old 20,000 btu unit in wall and wanted something with same dimensions and this 1 fit perfectly I did not know about other features had.
