Is the washer even running?

This unit is so quite. But it sure has a lot of choices and selection. It would be nice if there was a quick reference guide to maximize all the available options.

3 years that's it

After 3 years of a very light use, the main board failed and it will not turn on. There is also oxidation in many areas on front of the washer.

What Were They Thinking?

I am pretty pleased with the LG Washer, though I mainly use the manual setting of "Speed Wash". The problem with the manufacturers of recent machines is that they think they have covered every conceivable need for every type of wash cycle. But they don't; that's why I am forced to use the "Spped Wash" cycle-- I can adjust the parameters of the settings: temperature, soil level, etc. Adding all kinds of settings that are supposed to cover my wash choices is an exercise in futility. Hey engineers: 1. stop telling consums what their wash and dry cycles should be, let US decide the choices of temperature, soil level, time, etc. 2. WHO WAS IT that came up with the great idea of not putting a light in the washer?!? Really? My previous washer had a light, as did the dryer, so I can see my laundry. Please ask a real person who does actual laundry what they want in a machine. This customer votes for less fancy cycles, more control, and oh yes, a light in the drum so I can see my clothing.
