I received this product for free from Maytag and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Maytag Commercial grade Residential Gas Dryer is the best dryer I have ever owned. The control panel is basic, with simple knobs that turn. Many people want the updated versions of appliances that have a control panel with touch screen capability but honestly having that as an "extra benefit" really isn't a big deal for me. What concerns me most is whether my clothes get dry or not. That being said, the control panel is easy to read and very easy to program to dry your clothes in a variety of ways. The gas dryer is capable of handling larger loads and can even tackle bulky things such as comforters and pillows. One of the nice features is the automatic cool down that will shut off the heat and basically fluff dry your clothes at the end of the cycle. There is also an end of cycle alarm buzzer that is great for me because I tend to forget about the clothes in the dryer as it is in my basement so this lets me know my load is done drying. I will say tho that this buzzer is kind of loud so an added benefit is that you have the option to turn the buzzer off if you don't want or need that reminder. Maytag brand has been around for a long time and I believe it is because they make superior products that last a very long time. I can honestly say I love my Maytag!
