This replaced a 30 year old compactor. It is much more attractive, much quieter and does a great job of compacting for fewer trips to our trash container. We love it! Yes

I am a paraplegic and love all of my ADA Maytag Appliances! When I needed to purchased all new kitchen features I chose Maytag because of their line of ADA compliant appliances. Now I can handle garbage easily and have it compressed so much that I only need to take out the trash once a week. If I use my compost pile outside, once a month. What an awesome appliance and quality of life improvement for me!
