I bought this washer to replace one that had went out. I chose Maytag because of its reputation of being durable and Long lasting. I have to admit that I have been pleasantly surprised with how well this washer cleans clothes and handles large loads. I also noticed that this washer does not have the same mildew smell as my prior washer did and this is a big benefit! There is nothing worse than putting clothes into a washer that smells like mildew. I have not had any issues or complaints about this washer and I would recommend it to anyone who was looking to replace or buy a new washer
