This is a small microwave and is only 800 watts, so choose the longer cooking time when directions give a range. Works fine for what is it. 3 or 4 stars.

This is an under powered no bells microwave that GE just happened to stick the name Monogram on it to make it seem special, which it is not. We live in a ranch style house with long narrow hallways which tends to amplify sound a bit and there is no option to turn off the beeping on this microwave. Obviously GE engineers or designers do not have kids because the excessive beeping on this microwave never fails to wake the house.
