love the set, buying a new 8k and keeping this for the bedroom. in 4 years, i only had two small problems: 1) the nintendo switch would randomly steal the input away from whatever i was watching or doing. this was eventually solved when nintendo updated their firmware and added an option to turn off "match tv power state." 2) i've given up trying to add custom names for the playstation 4 and nintendo switch hdmi ports. once the device is powered on or off, the custom name is lost and it goes back to "hdmi 1" or "hdmi 4". oddly enough, the xbox one x and roku box both work fine.

We bought this TV. 18 months ago and used to rave about how good the picture looked. I did not like the One Connect Box and would have preferred the built in ports. However this past week the TV started the cycle of turning itself on and off. It would cycle every 2-3 seconds. A quick search on the web showed this to be a known issue with Samsung. We are paying to have it repaired but will likely not buy a Samsung again.

Barely lasted 3 years. Backlight is going bad making darker images difficult to view. Samsung won't repair because the warranty is up. Very disappointed with the quality and service from Samsung. I won't purchase another. The only reason I'm giving it 2 starts was it was a great TV before this issue.
