Washboard Days Are Back Again!

Was desperate for a new washer/dryer & it had to be a side by side. Was new to the area so the gues at Conns conned me into this model. The sink area is never used and is a nuisance in the way it opens. The lid has broken in the corner. Now it seems the drain pump isn't working. Times are tough for most and I'm trying to figure out how to afford a drain pump & the reinstallation of the pump. The riveted back panel makes it so that the pump isn't easily accessible. Was hoping to get a few more years out of this thing. Now I see why they included the "washboard" in the sink feature!! Bahahaha! It's Junk!

Repair cost can buy another washer

4 years old and it needs a 3rd lid. Plastic is not strong enough for the tension from hinge and breaks from it after time. Also have already replaced the control board.

After 3 years, cant say Im pleased with purchase

Purchased this washer and dryer set because it looked nice and matched our Samsung Black SS kitchen appliances. The top bin for washing stains or dirty kids clothes looked pretty cool, used it maybe 5 times. You do get to bump the top of your head on it daily when when reaching down to grab clothes, which you know, adds to the ambiance of doing laundry. Besides the potential user error of beeping codes for load balance issues, I have had to fairly large problems for a < 5yr old thousand dollar washer. -there are rust spots around the detergent door and the bleach basket -the hinge to one side of the top door is broken and after 10 attempts to super glue and/or tape, it is the way it is. It looks pretty, but wish I wouldve listened to my inner "buy the all metal basic looking Kenmore"
