i had my precious washer for 11 years before the bearings in the drum went bad and had to replace the washer. i wasn't looking for a samsung washer, but, came across this one. it is definately powerful and has many functions. before i bought it, i read the reviews. i saw an issue with the bearings wearing out in the drum. i also noticed that the spin cycles on this machine is twice as powerful has my previous one. with this in mind, i still bought it (was on a major ten sale). instead of using the default high spin cycle, i use the medium. it's been two years and i've had no problems. i'm good.
