We have only used a the grill few times, but seems great. It came in two boxes with dozens of pieces, but the directions were illustrated well and two of us put it together in a couple hours. The lights on the handle, and the propane monitoring sensors are bonuses. We have not tried out the side burner yet. This is a very pricey item, Weber does have a great reputation so I'm hoping this grill lasts as long as the Vermont Castings that this is replacing, (18 years).

We have just had the grill for a month, so these comments are at an very early stage. This grill is great looking and has great functionality. I've not tried the rotisserie yet, but I love the sear station. The burners start very easily and there are separate controls for each of the 6 main burners plus controls for the 3rd burner of the "sear station", the ceramic rotisserie browning burner, and the smoker chip burner. There are two controls for the side burner (outer and inner ring). The side burner is very large and should provide plenty of heating capacity.
Each burner has its own starter and makes it very easy to control all 9 of the burners individually. Of course, the side burner also has its own controls and starter. I like how they designed the controls for the ceramic rotisserie burner, the 3rd sear station burner, and the smoker chip burner with smaller knobs so that it's easy to differentiate them from the regular grill burners. The starter for each of the 6 main burners and 3 auxiliary burners is automatic -- the starter is actuated as you turn the knob to turn the burner on.
I highly recommend getting the two-sided griddle which fits exactly over two of the burners at either end. This griddle is good for fish, veggies, and other foods that you want to keep from breaking off and dropping through the normal grates. We've tried the griddle and really like it. We plan to keep it mostly in place because there is PLENTY of regular grilling space with the other four burners. Just be aware, because the griddle is porcelain coated IRON, it's very heavy.
We really like the covered storage which is very well ventilated in the rear. The storage space is great for storing utensils, cleaning tools, etc. I would not recommend the storage for storing anything made of paper since it can get rather hot.
The large temperature gauge on the lid of the grill is easy to read and situated right in the top center unlike our previous Weber grill where it was on the bottom right (Genesis).
So far, the only negative that we have is that there is no full cover available. We like the top cover that is available which is extremely easy to take on an off and has velcro straps to secure it in case of windy conditions. It would be nice to have a full-size cover to use during the winter to protect the bottom part of the grill, but there is none available (at least from Weber).
We look forward to many years of grilling with our new Weber Summit Grill Center.

Great grill…. Love the additional storage and workspace. If you can afford it, well worth the price. The double ring burner really makes a difference. Owned the standard 670 Summit for 15 years. Time for a new one.
