Almost perfect dryer

We bought this dryer along with the matching Duet washer. It's quiet, dries clothes quickly, and has great features like bulky (fluffs, not wad, large blankets), wrinkle shield (actually keeps my clothes from wrinkling if I get stuck in a time-sensitive task and can't immediately pull clothes out). It's been wonderful except for one thing: the beeping. Every single time you touch any button it BEEPS. Want to reduce the time? One beep for every 1-5 minutes it goes up or down. Switch from normal to another mode? BEEP. Change the dryness level? BEEP. Wrinkle shield on? BEEP. Off? BEEP. Accidentally touch it with your hip while hanging clothes? BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. When shopping for the dryer I read a review somewhere in which a guy ranted about this. I thought he was being ridiculous and that I would be smart to save a few hundred dollars with the cheaper model on which you can't turn off the sound. I bought the more expensive version of the washer due to another feature I wanted. Within two weeks I was SO GRATEFUL I could turn the sound off the washer. Over 3 years later, I would gladly pay $200 to stop the BEEPING!!! Do yourself a favor and get a whirlpool dryer, but make sure you can turn off the sound.
