When our 20-year old convection oven finally died we were desperate to find a new one during a time when many appliances were mostly back-ordered Fortunately this Whirlpool was available and had it installed the same day.
Wow, what a difference! Slimmer profile than our old one, and much, much quieter too. I really like how you enter a regular oven temp and time and the Whirlpool oven calculates the proper convection conversion. Also love the one button "keep warm" feature on the lower oven, and the hidden lower heating element - will make cleanup so much easier. The sequence for programming is a little more learning curve than the old oven, but the warmup time is much faster. In fact it's faster to toast buns under the broiler than it is using our toaster! One wish would be for the Recipe Convect setting. After you enter all the details (type of baking, temp, cook time) the timer immediately starts counting down while the oven is preheating and before you're prompted to put the food in. The timer shouldn't start until after the food is placed in the oven. Other than that, it's a joy to use and a good value.

Built a new house and this was an excellent choice. Nice upgrade from what the builder offered and I'm glad we went with it. One thing I love is the built in gap/handle in the racks and the top oven has three - very handy. As for the 4 star features choice - if it had two timers it would be perfection!!!! One for each oven.
