Have had no issues. Love the bottom freezer. Easy to clean

The untimely death of mine before its second birthday has nothing to do with Whirlpool: the motorhome manufacturer installed a latch over a faceplate that traverses the mid-front where all three doors meet. Beneath their latch myriad cracks developed and began shedding freon into our coach interior. Newmar, the coach maker, insisted the coolant lines are nowhere near their proprietary aftermark latch installed on each Newmar Dutch Star, so I did a "fridge autopsy" to demonstrate otherwise, and then sent the cross-section to Whirlpool for engineering analysis.
