LG dryers, available at Plesser's Appliances, are offered in electric, gas, and ventless heat-pump configurations, in matched front-load and top-load pairs and the single-unit WashTower.

Sensor Dry
Sensor Dry tracks moisture in the load and stops when it is actually dry rather than running a timer to the end. Over-drying is what wears fabric out, so this protects clothes more than any other feature.

TurboSteam
TurboSteam on select models uses steam to reduce wrinkles and refresh clothes without a full wash, which cuts ironing and handles clothes that only need freshening. Confirm which models include it.

Electric, Gas, or Ventless
Electric dryers need 240V service and a vent. Gas dryers need a gas connection, a standard circuit, and a vent, and generally cost less per load. Ventless heat-pump dryers need no vent at all, which changes where laundry can go in a house.
