Sub-Zero Freezers at Plesser's Appliances

Sub-Zero freezers, available at Plesser's Appliances, dedicate a full cabinet to frozen storage with a refrigeration system built for nothing else. Built in Wisconsin by Sub-Zero Group, all-freezer units are offered as full-height columns and undercounter models, and are commonly specified alongside a matching Sub-Zero all-refrigerator as a paired installation.

Dedicated Frozen Storage
An all-freezer unit gives frozen food the entire cabinet rather than a compartment sharing space and airflow with refrigeration. Every shelf and drawer runs at the freezer setpoint, and capacity is not divided. For households that buy in volume, batch cook, or store game and seafood, that is the practical case for a standalone unit.

Temperature Stability and Freezer Burn
Frozen storage is where temperature stability matters most — repeated swings are what cause freezer burn and ice crystallization, not the setpoint itself. A built-in microprocessor monitors and holds temperature closely rather than allowing drift between compressor cycles. Magnetic door seals and soft-close hinges lock conditions in each time the door shuts.

Paired with a Sub-Zero All-Refrigerator
All-freezer units are typically specified next to a matching all-refrigerator, either side by side or separated across the kitchen layout. Each cabinet has its own refrigeration system and controls, so both run at their own optimal settings with full capacity in each. Specified in matching finish and hardware, the two read as one continuous cabinetry run.

Interior Organization and Ice
Full-extension shelving and drawers keep items at the back of a deep cabinet reachable rather than buried, with construction rated for fully loaded compartments. Automatic ice production with water filtration is available on select models. Confirm the interior configuration and ice option against the spec sheet — these differ between column and undercounter units.

Series, Panels, and Installation Planning
Freezers are offered across Sub-Zero's series in stainless and panel-ready configurations for integration with cabinetry. Note that all-freezer units do not include Sub-Zero's air purification system, which is specific to refrigeration. Installation requires a framed opening, a dedicated circuit, and for ice production a water line.
