Wolf Steam Ovens at Plesser's Appliances
Wolf convection steam ovens, available at Plesser's Appliances, combine steam with convection in a single built-in cavity, which makes them the most versatile oven Wolf builds. Built by Sub-Zero Group in Wisconsin and engineered with a climate sensor, the convection steam oven handles artisan bread, roasted meats and poultry, vegetables, and reheating — often better than a conventional oven does.
Climate Sensor and Automatic Adjustment
The oven's climate sensor monitors conditions inside the cavity and manages the balance of steam and convection heat accordingly, rather than requiring you to guess at it. That is what produces bread with real crust and an open crumb, and roasts that brown without drying out. It is also the reason the unit is genuinely easier to get good results from than a conventional oven.
Steam, Convection, or Both
Pure steam cooks vegetables and fish while retaining texture, color, and nutrients that boiling washes away. Convection alone works as a standard second oven. Combined, the two brown the exterior while keeping the interior moist — the mode most cooks end up using for roasts and baked goods. Confirm the available mode set on the current spec sheet.
Reheating Without Drying Out
Steam reheating is the feature people end up valuing most day to day: leftovers come back close to how they started rather than dried at the edges or rubbery from a microwave. For a household that cooks in batches, this changes how usable leftovers are. It is a small thing that gets used constantly.
Styling and Stack Integration
Convection steam ovens are offered in M Series and E Series styling across Professional, Transitional, and Contemporary treatments, and are designed to stack with Wolf wall ovens, speed ovens, microwaves, and coffee systems. Available combinations depend on widths and series — plan the full column as one elevation before cabinetry is designed.
Water Supply, Drain, and Installation Planning
Steam ovens are available in reservoir or plumbed configurations, and plumbed models require a water supply and, depending on the installation, a drain connection — the most consequential item to settle before cabinetry and finishes go in. Installation also requires a framed opening sized to the model, standard or flush inset application, and a dedicated circuit. Talk to the team at Plesser's Appliances about configuration, water and drain rough-in, and cutout dimensions early.
